The Second International Symposium on Forest Wellness and Healthy Aging

(First Round Pre-Announcement)

Against the backdrop of the Healthy China initiative and the aging population, forest wellness has gradually emerged as a vital pathway to achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. In line with the directives of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, which emphasized "accelerating the establishment of mechanisms to realize the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and "further deepening reforms in the eldercare service sector for the new era," efforts are being intensified to promote the high-quality development of the forest wellness industry and services. These initiatives aim to enhance public well-being and contribute to the realization of a modern socialist powerhouse. Northeast Forestry University will host the "Second International Symposium on Forest Wellness and Healthy Aging" from July 20 to 22, 2025.

The symposium, themed "Ecological Well-being and Inclusive Aging," will explore a wide range of topics spanning economic, social, and ecological research fields.
